AJKL Ranking & PRIZES
The American Junior Karate League in-person ranking point system consist of 2 separate rankings (Eastern Conference Ranking and Western Conference Ranking). This will allow athletes to obtain points within their region without having to travel all over the country all year around.
At the end of the year, in each AJKL ranking division there will be 2 ranking winners (one winner from the Eastern Conference and one winner from the Western Conference). Therefore, athletes can only accumulate points in one ranking (Eastern Conference ranking or Western Conference ranking).
SKIL LEVELS: The 2023 ranking will be for Intermediate & Advanced/Elite divisions ages 8 to 17.
SEMINAR: In order to help the development of the athletes, we believe that it is important to give them the opportunity to compete but also the chance to train with other talented athletes and coaches to improve their skills. Therefore, we are including one seminar per conference to our ranking system so athletes can earn points for participating in it.
POINTS SYTEM: The 2023 season will consist of 5 total ranking events (4 tournaments and 1 seminar). Therefore, the highest possible points that an athlete can obtain is 5000 points.

1st Place = 1000 Points
